湖北水彩画家用手中的画笔描绘武汉

作为第十二届全国美展水彩、粉画作品展的预热,“第12届湖北省美术作品展水彩、粉画邀请展”在武汉美术馆开幕。50余件水彩画作品呈现了湖北水彩画创作队伍的实力。

湖北老中青三代水彩画家将视线投向身边的都市生活,以独特的构思和视角描绘武汉。他们没有描绘武汉的地标性风景,却依然展现出一个不一样的武汉。

现场,青年画家朱良川的《三伏三更》引人注目,作品为3幅组画,描绘了3只不同燃烧进度的蚊香盘。

朱良川告诉记者,作品灵感来自多年前的一个武汉夏天,他在酷热的夜里,难以入眠,便静静地观察一盘蚊香最后燃烬。他说,这件作品记录了他对武汉的过往记 忆,并传递其对时光流逝、个人与外界环境关系等方面的思考。“现在,很少有武汉人用蚊香了,但那些记忆属于这个城市,仍然值得回味。”

1988年出生的封思勇,作品《都市心象》也引人注目。这组画形式独特,以平涂的小色块描绘武汉街景,画面如热感应图,或透过水痕玻璃看到的风景。封思勇以特殊的笔法模糊景物的边缘,产生朦胧感,让画面之景成为他心中的“武汉印象”。

聚焦普通劳动者

Focusing of ordinary workers

除了景与物,都市人也是艺术家们表现武汉的重要素材,艺术家把视线聚焦普通劳动者,描述他们的生活,以此折射武汉的变化。

杨帆的《工地晨曲》描绘了一个普通生活场景:一个冬天的清晨,几名建筑工人正在早点摊上买早点,他们的身影笼罩在汤锅的蒸汽中。艺术家以一个寻常的生活所见,武汉手绘墙,反映建筑工人生活的艰辛。

Yang Fan's "morning" site portrays a common life scenes: a winter morning, several construction workers are breakfast stalls to buy breakfast, they figure shrouded in the pot steam. The artist to an ordinary life, reflecting the hardships of life building workers.

刘洪玲《追梦人》描绘了一位中年农民工,他身背行囊,手持火车票,神情凝重地打着电话。以一个生活中的寻常定格,表现了艺术家对普通劳动者的体恤和关怀,也引发观者对农民工与城市关系的思考。

湖北美术家协会秘书长刘春冰说,“湖北水彩艺术家描绘生活,但并非简单再现生活,他们在作品中反映出自己的真实情感和生活体验。”

Secretary General of Hubei Artists Association Liu Chunbing said, "Hubei watercolour artists depicting the life, but it is not the simple reproduction of life, they are in the works reflect his true feelings and life experience."

展览将持续至9月14日,市民可免费观展。

依照片创作也能参加评奖?

本次展览现场,一张写实水彩作品《亮宝节上的人们》引起关注。这幅作品以照片放大为蓝本创作,有观众质疑:依照片创作的作品也能参加评奖?艺术家是否在放弃写生而走捷径?

该作品作者、水彩画家许海刚坦承,《亮宝节上的人们》运用了投影技术,以摄影为素材。但他指出,作品虽以摄影作为参照蓝本,但“并不是摄影的简单转化,而是将十多张照片中的不同人物提炼、重新组合,并设置光影、色调,再融入个人情感。照片只起到辅助记录的作用。”

据了解,近年来,艺术家创作越来越多地借用现代科技手段,如以投影仪将摄影素材放大,并投射于纸面或画布,作为起稿、塑形参照。

第12届全国美展评委、湖北美术学院水彩画系主任刘寿祥表示,借用摄影作画已在艺术圈达成共识,“我画画的时候,用过投影仪,也用照片”。他同时指出,如果画家完全临摹投影、照片创作,没有写生能力,也画不出佳作。
